San Lorenzo Little League is a proud 100% volunteer run and operated baseball league that serves the San Lorenzo, San Leandro, and Ashland communities.Ā Established in 1958, we have a league managed five field complex located at the heart of the San Lorenzo Village.Ā We are proud to serve little leaguers league ages 4 years old and up and further the development of athletic skills, teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and love for the game of baseball!Ā
San Lorenzo Little League aspires to be an outstanding athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience, in which every athlete:
⢠Is coached using the principles of the Little League
⢠Has fun playing the game
⢠Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
⢠Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
⢠Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player
Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. We recognize coaches most directly make this possible, so we provide all coaches with the tools to succeed as Little League Coaches. We are committed to creating a culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires and athletes work together to achieve our mission.
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in our Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.
