We are sorry to announce the passing of a beloved member of our San Lorenzo Little League family, Frances Blasquez.

Fran’s dedication to San Lorenzo Little League was truly extraordinary. She served on the Board of Directors, the Auxiliary Board, and most notably as President of San Lorenzo National Little League, before the National and American leagues merged into one. Altogether, Fran dedicated more than 20 years to helping lead, support, and shape our League.

Her impact went far beyond the titles she held. Fran was someone who cared deeply about the children, families, volunteers, and the community that made San Lorenzo Little League special. If you played at SLZ in the early 2000s, there’s a good chance you crossed paths with Fran at the fields, heard her name, or perhaps had the privilege of knowing her personally.

Her years of service helped create memories and traditions that continue to be a part of our League today. For so many in our community, Fran was more than a volunteer—she was a familiar and caring presence who gave countless hours to something she believed in.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, heart, and dedication Fran gave to San Lorenzo Little League. Her legacy will live on through the players, families, and League community she helped shape.
